In early December 2021, the Fixation Division at voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak (“Nortrak”) celebrated five years without a recordable injury at their Cheyenne, WY plant.

The fixation plant was constructed in 2007 and produces direct fixation fasteners, concrete turnout ties and the concrete Keyway Tie designed to be interspersed within wood tie territory.

According to Nortrak CEO Dave Millard “This is a remarkable achievement for a pre-stressed concrete facility, and is an indication of Nortrak’s overall commitment to safety.”
