HNTB Corporation announced the appointment of four new staff members this week, in addition to the growth of the firm’s presence in the Southeastern U.S. with the addition of its first Tennessee-based office.

The firm opened the new office space located at 725 Cool Springs Blvd. in Franklin, Tenn., which it said was part of a commitment to serving its clients and improving regional mobility.

Robbie Hayes, AICP, ENV SP, has joined the firm as a project manager and practice builder for the environmental planning group and will be based in the firm’s new Tennessee office. HNTB said Hayes will manage various complex planning projects and will be tasked with ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.

“A permanent office in Tennessee positions us closer to clients and will facilitate collaborative efforts across the region to fight congestion and offer integrated transportation options,” said Charlie Herndon, PE, HNTB Southeast Division president. “We’re eager to grow in the region and contribute to its continued prosperity.”

Also among the new appointments this week was Tina Williamson, AICP, who joined the firm as a senior planner. Williamson will be based in the firm’s Lake Mary, Fla., office and is responsible for developing technical solutions and strategies for planning projects throughout the region, HNTB said.

Patricia Richters, GISP, also joined HNTB this week. Richters has been brought on as a senior transportation planner, based in the firm’s Jacksonville, Fla., office. She will oversee the development of technical solutions and strategies for planning projects throughout the region, HNTB said.

LJ Dickens, PE, returned to HNTB as a project manager for engineering. Dickens is based in the firm’s Kansas City regional office and will be responsible for developing bridge inspection solutions and strategies for bridge projects throughout the region.
