BNSF update on wounded police officer

A BNSF employee was killed on Wednesday, Feb. 9 at a downtown Denver yard.

On Monday, RT&S reported on the struggle a BNSF police officer had with a trespasser at a Denver BNSF facility last Saturday. The latest information we had at the time of the report was that the officer was in the hospital in critical but stable condition.
We reached out to BNSF this week to inquire about the officer’s condition, and learned that the officer was treated for his injuries at a local Denver hospital and was released within 24 hours.
We wish the officer a speedy recovery.
