WATCH: SMART Gauntlet Track Construction for Petaluma North Station

PETALUMA, Calif. – From April 13th to 14th, SMART will have a partial system closure to install a gauntlet track for a new Petaluma North station.

Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART) announced a partial system closure that will occur April 13^th to 14^th. The stations that will be closed include the Sonoma County Airport, Santa Rosa North, Santa Rosa Downtown, Rohnert Park, and Cotati stations. All southbound trips will begin at the Petaluma Downtown station. This is due to construction of a new station in northern Petaluma.

SMART says the new station and facilities should be open in December 2024.
