NAMRC names Spilker Supplier of the Year

North American Maintenance Railway Club (NAMRC) has named Greg Spilker of Encore Rail Systems, Inc., as the club’s Supplier of the Year 2018.

“Greg is a consummate industry profession and exemplifies the character of the NAMRC membership.  His personal support of the club has brought in several new members and Encore has supported the club as a Platinum Sponsor since 2014,” said NAMRC President Jim Hansen.

Spilker has been involved in the railway maintenance supply industry for more than 24 years. He currently serves as vice president and general manager of Encore Rail, based in Broomfield, Colo. Previously, He spent 17 years at Nordco, Inc., where he held positions from assembler to vice president of Sales and Marketing. Following that he worked for Progress Rail Equipment Leasing as National Sales Manager.

Spilker was elected to the board of Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association, Inc., in 2009 and is serving his second term. NARMC says he is actively involved in several railroad committees and organizations including the Auction Committee of the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association, Inc., as well as AREMA Committee 27 – Maintenance of Way Work Equipment. He lives in Wisconsin with his wife, Tracy, and daughters, Zoe and Ella.
