The CREATE Program will be participating in the 14^th Annual Transportation Symposium and Business Exchange sponsored by several CREATE partners and other regional transportation agencies. Participants include the Regional Transportation Authority, Illinois Tollway, CTA, Metra, Pace and IDOT, among others.

This one-day event provides suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and professional firms with an opportunity to:

• Learn about opportunities regarding CREATE projects.

• Meet with agency procurement representatives.

• Receive procurement forecasts.

• Experience a focused, one-on-one matchmaking session with prime contractors.

• Promote products and services.

• Network and develop partnerships with other vendors in the transportation industry.

The event will be held November 30, 2010, 11:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Chicago Hilton & Towers, 720 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60605.

CREATE is a first-of-its-kind partnership between U.S. DOT, the State of Illinois, City of Chicago, Metra, Amtrak, and the nation's freight railroads. A project of national significance, CREATE will invest billions in critically needed improvements to increase the efficiency of the region's rail infrastructure and the quality of life of Chicago-area residents.
