Adrian Share and Conrad Blankenzee have joined HNTB Corporation to work in the firm's growing high-speed rail practice in Florida. HNTB, in a joint partnership with Wilbur Smith Associates, was selected by the Florida Department of Transportation in March 2010 as the program manager for passenger rail in the state of Florida, primarily the link between Tampa and Orlando.

Share has joined the firm as a senior vice president and program director of passenger rail for the newly formed Florida Rail Enterprise. He brings more than 27 years of experience in program and project management, high-speed rail and transit, and roadway/bridge design.

Share previously worked for HNTB in the firm's Boston office for 12 years and the Florida office for six years. After leaving HNTB in 2004, Share served as a senior vice president for Wilbur Smith Associates and managed the firm's Florida and Caribbean region. He led WSA's efforts assisting FDOT in its application process and related activities associated with the "Vision for High-Speed Rail in America." Share's primary assignment, now that he has rejoined the firm, is to advance what will be the first true high-speed rail express service in the United States.

Blankenzee has joined the firm as a senior rail specialist in which he will be responsible for the systems development of several high-speed rail projects in Florida. Prior to joining HNTB, Blankenzee served as the project director for the Auckland Regional Transportation Authority.
