Hulcher Services Inc. has opened a new full-service division in Montreal, Quebec. The new division is staffed and equipped to provide a broad range of services for railroads and general industry. Service offerings include railroad services, engineering work, transfer and load adjustments, industrial services, snow removal, flood control and emergency/disaster response.

The Montreal division is the second for Hulcher in Canada. Hulcher also maintains a full-service location in Toronto. With the opening of this new division Hulcher has 38 locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

"Hulcher Services has many long-standing relationships with the railroads and other businesses in Canada," said Jason Hodge, Montreal Division General Manager. "We believe that establishing this permanent presence in Montreal will help us to be even more responsive to Canadian businesses' needs in the coming years.

"With the new division, our crews will be close by and can be on the road within one hour, any time day or night, to respond to emergency situations," Hodge added. "Because our people and equipment will be right there in Montreal, we will also be able to provide a full spectrum of non-emergency services quickly and in a cost-competitive manner. Our focus has always been on providing quality service. Now that we are operating directly out of Montreal we can deliver that quality to our Canadian customers more efficiently and effectively than ever before."
