Crews for Seattle's Sound Transit are performing utility work along South Tacoma Way and at the intersection of South 26th and A Streets. This work, in preparation for the new track for the D-to-M Streets project, is expected to continue through early December.
The work includes: • Trenching along the north and south sides of South Tacoma Way from South C Street west to the Rescue Mission. • Utility work in the intersection of South 26th and A streets. After the Thanksgiving holiday, utility and street work will begin along A Street between South 26th and 27th, and west along South 27th to Pacific Avenue. This work will remove parking along the east side of A Street until the project ends in 2012. Access to businesses will be maintained while this work occurs. This work is weather-dependant. |
