Sounder sets utility work on South Tacoma Way
Written by jroodCrews for Seattle's Sound Transit are performing utility work along South Tacoma Way and at the intersection of South 26th and A Streets. This work, in preparation for the new track for the D-to-M Streets project, is expected to continue through early December.
The work includes:
• Clearing along the south side of South Tacoma Way.
• Trenching along the
north and south sides of South Tacoma Way from South C Street west to the
Rescue Mission.
• Utility work in the
intersection of South 26th and A streets.
After the Thanksgiving
holiday, utility and street work will begin along A Street between South 26th
and 27th, and west along South 27th to Pacific Avenue. This work will remove
parking along the east side of A Street until the project ends in 2012.
Access to businesses will
be maintained while this work occurs. This work is weather-dependant.
