ATLANTA - Railway Track and Structures Media is proud to announce it will be the presenting sponsor of the Heavy Haul portion of the annual Wheel Rail Interaction Conference (WRI ‘24) produced by Wheel Rail Seminars (WRS).

This annual engineering conference is one of the industry’s premier events. The 2024 Conference will be held in Chicago, May 21-24, 2024, and marks the 29th annual conference. Gordon Bachinksy, the founder of the conference, says “We presented the first Wheel/Rail Interaction Seminar in 1994. It was based on a simple idea: to create a forum for track and mechanical professionals to meet, exchange ideas, and share their experiences in the critical area of the wheel/rail interface. This unique seminar has grown into the longest-running WRI conference where you can learn from the best in the business, network with other industry pros and stay ahead of the technology curve. We’re proud to welcome RT&S, with its dedication to covering engineering and maintenance of way, as the presenting sponsor of the annual WRI Heavy Haul Seminar.”

David C. Lester, Editor-in-Chief of Railway Track and Structures (RT&S) said “A partnership with WRS is a perfect fit for us. We’ve been reporting on railroad civil engineering and infrastructure issues since 1905, and believe this partnership will benefit both organizations. We’re glad to be aboard.”
