BOSTON - VHB announces Kevin Maloney as its new Senior Project and Design-Build Manager.

According to the release, Maloney brings with him more than 38 years of experience in “transportation project management, engineering, and planning” to increase VHB’s design-build capacity. Maloney joins VHB after working at Jacobs Engineering Group where he worked to gain experience in “managing complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.” These projects were located across the U.S. in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, California, Washington, and Oregon. Previously, Maloney worked on the California High Speed Rail project and the Downtown Redmond Link Extension with Sound Transit.

At VHB, Maloney will use his experience in “commercial management, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation experience” to develop design-build projects located throughout New England. According to the release, his work in “aligning design processes with construction goals has consistently resulted in greater project efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.”

VHB’s New England Regional Manager Meredith Avery said, “I am personally so excited to have Kevin joining our team. Having worked with him years ago on the iconic Longfellow Bridge Design-Build project for MassDOT, I know that his collaborative leadership style and detail-oriented project management capabilities will be a tremendous benefit to the VHB team, as well as to our clients. His contributions will greatly support our growth, particularly in the design-build space.”
