Jennifer Wood Joins Michael Baker International as Regional Practice Lead

PITTSBURGH - Jennifer Wood, P.E. will join Michael Baker International as its Regional Practice Lead for Bridge and Transportation in the Western Region.

According to the release, Wood joins the firm to drive growth in its Western Region, including 24 offices in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Washington. She brings 28 years of experience in the transportation industry. Recently, Wood worked for Parsons as Business Development Director for Parsons’ Mountain/Desert Region. Before that, Wood worked as Colorado Bridge and Structures Manager for AECOM, where she “stood up and led the combined AECOM Bridge and Structures team after its integration with URS.” She has also led project management at David Evans and Associates. Wood holds a BS in Civil Engineering from University of Colorado.

In her role at Michael Baker International, Wood will collaborate across the firm to engage clients and contractors “through the full lifecycle of transportation projects” and lead business development for “bridge and transportation projects by identifying and capturing new opportunities, winning major pursuits and ensuring that the firm delivers operational excellence and quality.”
