Patriot Rail’s Engineering Team Celebrates EPIC Project Milestone

ELKHART, Ind. - Patriot Rail's Engineering team celebrated the grand opening of a railroad crossing at Blazer Blvd.
According to Patriot Rail on LinkedIn, the crossing is a milestone in the Elkhart Preservation and Improvement for the Community (EPIC) Project. The partnership was funded via the Consolidated Rail Infrastructure Safety Improvement (CRISI) program. Along with the Elkhart & Western Railroad Co., INDOT, City of Elkhart, and the St. Joseph County RDC, the project was made possible. Patriot Rail shared its gratitude to its project partners for this project in Elkhart and to Shaun Bruins and the EWR team “for their hard work on this project.”
