Railway Track & Structures State of the Industry Survey

ATLANTA –– At the end of each year, we publish a State of the Industry report in the magazine to provide insight into the business conditions for the railroad, maintenance of way, and supply industries from the perspective of a look back at 2025 and a look ahead to 2026.
Part of that report is based on information gleaned from our State of the Industry survey, made available to the industry through this news post, as well as several email blasts to subscribers and others. The survey takes only a couple of minutes to complete and you can access the State of the Industry survey here. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential and will be used only for showing industry trends in aggregate.
The report will be published in our December 2025 issue of Railway Track and Structures magazine and will also be published as a story in our web news feed. Your input is very valuable to us and we would greatly appreciate your participation. The deadline for completing the survey is 12:00 midnight, November 19, 2025.
