UP Engineering Work Equipment Team Reaches 2,000 Injury-Free Days

HOUSTON - Union Pacific recognized its Engineering Work Equipment Team in its Southern Region.
According to the Class I, the team has tested rail anchors, implemented ‘strong’ inspection procedures, and improved its equipment designs while achieving 2,000 days without injury.
Gang 9101 was recognized on Union Pacific’s social media outlets, with UP citing the team’s ability in “raising the bar on safety and innovation.”
