CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - R.J. Corman Railroad Company's Industrial Development Group assisted with a track expansion at an existing customer's facility.

The customer, MW/MB, LLC, manufactures roofing materials and operates a facility that is served by R.J. Corman’s Memphis Line, or RJCM, according to the release. Last year, MW/MB worked with R.J. Corman’s Commercial and Industrial Development teams on a rail expansion project. R.J. Corman states its Industrial Development team worked with MW/MB “to design a conceptual layout that aligned with the interests of both organizations, allowing MW/MB to obtain internal approval for the initiative.” The final layout allowed for an “efficient operational environment” for R.J. Corman whilst remaining within budget and on schedule for MW/MB. Additionally, R.J. Corman provided a review and ongoing support throughout the construction process. At the end of 2Q 2025, track work was completed.

R.J. Corman Railroad Company Sr. Director of Industrial Development Jake Weir said, “The R.J. Corman team would like to congratulate MW/MB on the successful completion of this important project. . . We sincerely appreciate their business and ongoing investment in rail. The R.J. Corman Industrial Development Group was established to leverage our company’s railroad knowledge and experience, helping customers achieve positive outcomes on their projects. It has been a privilege to collaborate with the MW/MB team, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the future while providing top-notch supply chain solutions.”
