RailWorks Appoints Matt Violin to Chief Commercial Officer

NEW YORK CITY - Matt Violin is now Chief Commercial Officer of RailWorks.
According to the release, Violin holds more than twenty years of experience in the industry and has a “proven track record of driving sustained growth.” Violin grew up around rail contracting and has built his own career in innovation. Before joining RailWorks in 2008, he served as President of Euro Rail Equipment and his family’s business Violin Railroad Construction Co., where he gained experience Previously joining RailWorks in 2008 through NARSTCO, Violin has served in roles from Regional Sales Manager to National Sales Manager to Vice President of Sales. In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer, Violin will “lead RailWorks’ commercial strategy, focusing on expanding the company’s market presence and accelerating strategic growth initiatives across North America.”
Violin also holds a BS in Business Administration from Lake Superior State University and has competed as an NCAA Division I hockey player. Currently, he serves on the REMSA Board of Directors and is Vice Chair of the NRC’s Education & Scholarship Committee.
