DENVER - Regional Transportation District (RTD) announced it has lifted northbound speed restrictions between its Southmoor and Colorado stations.

As a result, E and H line trains have resumed normal speeds along that segment. The speed restrictions were previously placed back in June while crews completed maintenance work, which included addressing rail defects along six miles. Along these six miles are Colorado, Yale, and Southmoor stations. As crews continue maintenance work, speed restrictions will be lifted as a result. These can be found here.

Earlier this year, RTD began inspections of its light rail system along I-25. Since May, workers have discovered defects and have worked to address and mitigate them whilst implementing necessary speed restrictions.
