VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Translink announces upgrades are coming to Oakridge-41st Avenue Station.

The year-long construction is set to begin on Monday, September 16th, according to a report from Translink. Oakridge Park is the developer and will reportedly pay for most of the upgrades. Additional sources of funding came in 2022 via Translink’s Capital Projects program. The work will take place near the new Oakridge Park redevelopment. The Oakridge Park construction began in 2019 is part of a five million-square-foot redevelopment plan.

The upgrades to the passenger station will include two new escalators, a street-level station entrance canopy, direct underground mall access, and new public art inside the station.
