MAMMOTH SPRING, Ark. - BNSF crews respond after severe weather hit the Thayer North and South Subdivisions in Arkansas.

On X, formerly Twitter, the Class I stated “thunderstorms, tornadoes, high winds and flooding caused operations to halt on our River, Thayer North and Thayer South subdivisions in Missouri and Arkansas.” On April 6th, the Thayer North Subdivision was returned to service.

A rail bridge over the Warm Fork Spring River was washed away on April 5th. BNSF crews worked to replace the bridge, with service returned on April 10th. Service on the River Subdivision was scheduled to be returned on April 11th.
