WASHINGTON, D.C. – Amtrak has been awarded nearly $126 million from the Federal Railroad Administration’s Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) competitive grant program. Many Amtrak partners also received funding that will improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of Amtrak service and support the expansion of intercity passenger rail.

PHILADELPHIA – For the first of three, Amtrak awards HNTB a construction contract for the Zoo to Paoli Electrification Transmission Line Program. The contract is for construction management support the substation at Bryn Mawr and Bryn Mawr to Paoli segment.
ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) will stop service to Indian Creek Station to allow for a pedestrian bridge installation from December 8-9, 2024.
