BNSF experiences derailment in New Mexico
Written by David C. Lester, Editor-in-ChiefBNSF experienced a derailment early this morning in Vado, New Mexico. There isn’t a lot of detail available at present, but BNSF released the following statement:
“At approximately 5:30 a.m. central 12 empty rail cars and two locomotives derailed on a BNSF train in Vado, New Mexico. The train’s engineer was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Our crews are working to clear the site and the incident is under investigation.”
