FORT WORTH, Texas - BNSF has completed a new section of double track on its Fort Worth Subdivision.
Located in the Saginaw area, the section runs about 3.5 miles long and is part of a larger, multi-year project. The Class I says there is only about 2 miles left to go in the project. Once completed, it will have two main tracks that run from Lambert (north of Alliance) to and across Tower 55 near downtown.
BNSF states the “additional capacity opens up more growth opportunity for our customers, improving efficiency across another important section of our vast network.”
