The Port Authority of Alleghany County plans to replace nearly a mile of aging and deteriorating light-rail tracks and street pavement in Beechview, Pa., beginning in March.
Cando Rail Service plans rail terminal in British Columbia
Cando Rail Services is expanding into British Columbia with the recent purchase of an 89-acre parcel of land in Kamloops for a new rail terminal. The terminal will have the capacity for 1,000 railcar storage spots, in addition to providing transloading, material handling, engineering and track and mechanical services.
NYCT to begin major station renovation project Monday
Beginning January 18, Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) New York City Transit will begin performing major renovations to nine stations along the Sea Beach N Line from 8 Av in Sunset Park to 86 St in Bensonhurst. The stations are: 8 Av, Fort Hamilton Pkwy, New Utrecht Av, 18 Av, 20 Av, Bay Pkwy, Kings Hwy, Avenue U and 86 St.

SEPTA begins improvements to Arrott Transportation Center
