CHSRA Releases 2025 Project Update

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The California High-Speed Rail Authority has released a project update for 2025.
According to The Authority, the report was submitted to the legislature on March 1, 2025. This report fulfills its “requirement to update the California Legislature biennially on the development and implementation of intercity high-speed rail service.” The Authority also states it is working to update the schedule, cost, strategy, ridership, and design criteria.
The full report (below) includes a letter from CEO Ian Choudri that includes the vision of CHSRA going forward, 2024 accomplishments, funding and costs, management of risks and issues, and an overall project review.
