CHSRA To Hold Industry Outreach Event for Planned Procurement on Sept. 3

FRESNO, Calif. - The California High-Speed Rail Authority will hold a Fresno Station Early Works Industry Outreach event on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

According to CHSRA, it will issue an invitation to bid on a construction contract to restore the historic Fresno Depot. Additionally, the contract includes utility relocations and connections, ADA improvements, park and plaza development, demolition, and EV charging and station parking. CHSRA says webinar attendance is not required to submit a bid.

In addition to the Invitation for bids, the complete Plans and Specifications will also be released. The contract has an estimated cost of $50 million and a duration of 2 years, according to CHSRA. Bid advertisement and Pre-Bid Conference/Small Business Workshop and Job Walk are expected in October 2025. In November 2025, bids will be due. The contract award and Notice to Proceed will be in December 2025.
