SAN JOSE, Calif. – The VTA continues work on its light rail system to bring it to a state of good repair.
The Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) reported it is continuing to schedule repairs through the fall season in order to rehabilitate aging infrastructure. These “trouble spots” lead to slower service in these areas where equipment is at the end of its life.
This comes as part of its Rail Rehabilitation and Replacement Program, referred to as “Rail Rehab”, to bring infrastructure to a state of good repair. During this time, areas that are impacted by this work will be replaced by a bus service. More information on this service can be found at the link here.
