SacRT Completes Swanston Station Platform Height Modifications Early

SACRAMENTO - The Sacramento Regional Transit District announced Swanston Station construction will be completed ahead of schedule on October 18, 2024.
The construction at Swanston Station included modifications made to the platform height to accommodate new S700 low-floor light rail vehicles. With construction completed on Friday, October 18th, crews will begin work on platform construction at the Roseville Road Station on Monday, October 21, 2024.
On October 21st, the Roseville Road Station will be closed through Friday, November 8th to allow crews time to work on the platform height. SacRT says trains will still pass through the station during this closure, but customers will not be able to board or deboard at the station.
