VANCOUVER, B.C. - Oakridge-41st Avenue Station on the Canada Line will close early for one month to allow for upgrade work to take place.

According to TransLink, crews will demolish the station entrance and install glass panels in the roof from December 14 to January 15. The project will reportedly enhance accessibility and therefore be better equipped to serve nearby residents. The work necessitates early closures from Sunday to Thursday nights, with the exception of weekends and holidays.

By summer 2026, the upgrades will be complete and the station ready for service. These upgrades include two new accessible escalators, a new station entrance with a roof offering better protection from inclement weather, access underground to the Oakridge Park mall, an updated bus stop on 41st avenue, and the installation of public art inside the station.
