VTA Seeks DBE Participation for BART Silicon Valley Phase II

SAN FRANCISCO - The Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) opens procurement opportunities for the BART Silicon Valley Phase II (BSVII) Extension Project and invites prime contractors and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to participate.
On Wednesday, December 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the VTA Auditorium (Building C) in San Jose, California, VTA is hosting an Office of Business Diversity Programs’ Outreach Event. According to the VTA, this event seeks to share information about partnership opportunities for the BSVII Project. Those interested can register by December 6th at the link here.
The VTA states it is seeking qualified firms with expertise in quality management, safety/security, external affairs, implementation management, engineering management, project controls, and project delivery for a Program Management Services RFP. Additionally, it is seeking firms for a Proposed Planning and Outreach Support Services Contract. For this, expertise includes supporting BSVII project advancement, supporting community working groups and the Small Business Program, supporting stakeholder engagement and relations, and working in construction communications and outreach.
