WATCH: The B1M Releases Video Documentary on NEC Infrastructure Improvements

The Portal Bridge is a railroad bridge over the Hackensack River in northeastern New Jersey, United States, just west of Secaucus Junction. It is a two-track, moveable swing-span between the towns of Kearny and Secaucus owned and operated by Amtrak as part of the Northeast Corridor and also used by New Jersey Transit.

BALTIMORE - In a video from B1M, Fred Mills takes a trip on the NEC to see how the infrastructure is being replaced and upgraded.
The 38-minute video below “takes a tour along the Northeast Corridor – America’s busiest passenger railroad – for a behind-the-scenes look at historic investments,” according to Amtrak. As Fred Mills goes throughout the NEC, the documentary focuses on several major infrastructure projects that RT&S has reported on:

- Susquehanna River Bridge Project
- Gray 30th Street Station Redevelopment Project
- Portal North Bridge Project
