SACRAMENTO - The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) is inviting feedback on draft contract documents for the upcoming Construction Manager/General Contractor for Track and Overhead Contact System construction on the 171-mile Early Operating Segment from Merced to Bakersfield.

According to the release, all comments must be in by noon on Friday, January 17th. Additionally, the feedback must be in one document and emailed to [email protected]. As for the comments, each needs to be individually numbered “and begin with the relevant RFP document name and section number (e.g. Preconstruction Scope of Work, section 1).” The release also states that the Authority is not currently holding meetings one-on-one for the procurement nor is it responding to individual feedback. The feedback provided can be used for developing the CM/GC for Track and OCS construction contract and documents. Comments submitted “become property of the Authority and are subject to open government laws such as the California Public Records Act, the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).” Additional information can be found here.

The documents can be found at the link here.
