LOS ANGELES – Today, The LA Metro released new photos of construction at its Transit Connector station located near Aviation Boulevard and 96th Street.

Today, The LA Metro released new photos of construction at its Transit Connector station. The station is near Aviation Boulevard & 96th Street and acts as a transfer point between local transit and the people mover that takes riders to and from LAX terminals. The station will serve trains that run on the C and K Lines.

The above map shows the rail system and how it will work together with the LAX people mover.

According to the photo release, the station project is “about 70% complete and the current forecast is for a fall 2024 opening. Funding for the project comes from Measure M, a sales tax that was approved in 2016.
