Watco Completes 33-Day Construction of Trestle Bridge After Wildfire

In December’s “The Dispatch” from Watco, it announced the completion of a 33-day construction of a 210-foot steel and concrete rail trestle bridge in Winona, Washington. After a wildfire earlier this year, crews replaced the Winona 197-foot wooden trestle bridge along with the Washington State Department of Transportation and Kraemer North America.
According to Watco, the bridge is used by “Watco’s Palouse River & Coulee City Railroad and is estimated to carry an average of 2,600 railcars a year.”
