Track maintenance on Washington, D.C., Metro's Red and Blue lines March 12-14 will cause inbound and outbound trains to take turns sharing one track. Customers should add 30 minutes to their trips.

Metrorail customers traveling between the Fort Totten and Silver Spring Metrorail stations should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time because Metro will be making track circuit upgrades at the Takoma Metrorail station. Trains will share one track between these locations from 10 p.m., March 12, to 2 p.m., March 13, and again from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., on March 14.

Metrorail customers traveling between the Stadium-Armory and Addison Road-Seat Pleasant Metrorail stations should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time to allow Metro to replace concrete slabs underneath the rails. Trains will share one track between these locations from 10 p.m., March 12, to closing (midnight) on March 14.
