In his new role at HNTB, Fuller will be responsible for railway projects in Portland, Ore., Seattle and Western Canada. "As the Northwest railway practice leader for HNTB, I hope to enhance service to transit and railroad clients as well as enhance HNTB's reputation as a premier railway design firm," said Fuller.
Before joining HNTB, Fuller served as a chief engineer in CH2M HILL's transportation business group in Seattle. As an engineering manager, Fuller has been responsible for planning and engineering projects, including coordination with clients and third parties, ensuring timely completion of tasks, coordinating subconsultants and supervising and training in-house staff.
Fuller most recently developed a conceptual design for embedded track on the Delmar Bridge as part of the Loop Trolley streetcar project in St. Louis. He supervised the preparation of several alternative track alignments for the 1.5-mile system.
Fuller serves on the board of directors for the Women's Transportation Seminar's Puget Sound Chapter. He also is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, the Transportation Research Board and the American Public Transit Association.
