Metrolink working on Lindley Avenue railroad crossing

February 14, 2001 Los Angeles-area Metrolink maintenance crews will be performing work along Metrolink's Ventura Line railroad tracks Memorial Day weekend. The track maintenance activities will include the removal and replacement of crossties, rail and concrete panels at the railroad crossing at Lindley Avenue between Parthenia and Napa Streets.

Work on the crossing is
scheduled to begin on Friday evening, May 28, and continue through Saturday,
May 29 at 9 a.m. the railroad crossing will be completely closed during this
period.

Also, as part of the
station construction and expansion work at the Metrolink Pomona (North)
station, the Santa Fe Street Railroad Crossing will be closed from Friday, May
21, starting at 8 a.m. until Monday, May 24, at 6:00 a.m. The crossing will
remain open only for through access to the 
East Parking Lot. The Santa Fe
Street Railroad Crossing will be open for pedestrian and vehicular traffic for
those entering into the East Parking lot and the station platform. All riders
should utilize Fulton Street to enter the West Parking lot.
