RailWorks names Rolf to lead track division

DRAFT PRESS RELEASE RailWorks Corporation promoted of Robert Rolf to vice president & general manager of the South Division of its RailWorks Track Systems subsidiary. Rolf, formerly area manager of RailWorks Track Services, Inc., based in Bridgeton, Mo., is a licensed, professional engineer with more than 25 years of railroad construction and maintenance industry experience. He has been active throughout his career in industry associations, including the Track Functional Group (Committee #5) of The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and the St. Louis Railway Club.

In his new position, Rolf
is responsible for the Houston-based South Division with branch offices in
Beaumont, Corpus Christi and Dallas, Texas, and Bunkie, La., as well as project
offices in the southern United States. These offices provide track
construction, maintenance and rehabilitation services to railroads and
rail-served industries in the southern United States, including transit lines
and petro-chemical and port facilities with extensive plant-based operations.

Rolf’s appointment
coincides with the retirement of Jack Wilt, who has served as vice president
& general manager of the South Division of RailWorks Track Systems. Wilt
began his 35-year career with Wm. A. Smith Construction Company in Houston in
1976 and later joined RailWorks when it acquired the track contractor in 1998.
