Written by jrood

Two separate construction projects in Philadelphia will alter SEPTA's Broad Street Line service the weekend of Feb 19-21. From 8 p.m. Feb. 19 through 4 p.m. Feb. 21, Broad Street line trains will not stop at Fairmount Station as construction continues at Spring Garden Station. Riders traveling northbound who wish to go to Fairmount Avenue will have to exit the Broad Street Subway at Spring Garden Street and transfer to the Route C bus. Southbound passengers will have to exit at Girard Avenue to transfer to the Route C bus to Fairmount Avenue.

Later in the evening at 10
p.m., Broad Street Line Ridge/Spur trains between Girard and 8th Street
Stations will not operate due to a switch renewal project. Service will return
Sunday, February 21 at 6 p.m. Passengers traveling the Broad Street Line who
wish to travel to Chinatown are advised get off at City Hall Station and take
the free interchange for Market-Frankford Line trains traveling east to 8th
Street Station. Riders can then catch the Route 47 bus northbound from 7th
Street.
