Sound Transit contractors in the Seattle area will adjust light rail track switches on Martin Luther King Jr. Way South the weekend of Sept. 1 8-19. Link trains will be delayed from 5 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday because of the work.

Trains will need to operate on a single track between Beacon Hill Station and Othello Station to ensure a safe work area. Trains will operate approximately every 20 - 30 minutes instead of the usual 10 - 15 minute weekend schedule while the work is being done.

Northbound and southbound riders boarding at Beacon Hill, Mount Baker Station and Columbia City will board from the southbound platform.
