CPKC and Patriot Rail to Partner on New Transload Facility in Texas

JACKSONVILLE –– Patriot Rail, an operator of short lines and regional railroads, along with transloading and other rail services, this week announced jointly with CPKC that a new transload terminal will be built on the CPKC network in Denton, Texas.

The transload facility will offer services to customers in the Dallas –– Fort Worth, which is one of the fastest growing areas of North America.

Tom Tisa, Chief Commercial Officer at Patriot Rail, said “We are excited to grow with CPKC and continue serving the cement, aggregate, and lumber markets in the southwest region by expanding our operations in Texas. This project is an example of a strong partnership to develop solutions for companies shipping to and from Texas while supporting CPKC’s strategic long term growth goals.”

Construction of the new transload facility is scheduled to begin later this year.
