OMAHA – Union Pacific has completed work on its main line in Omaha, Nebraska.
On LinkedIn, the Class I announced that it had replaced 1,034 ties on a 659-foot-long bridge that crosses the Little Papillion Creek. This bridge is “one of more than 16,900 systemwide bridges owned and operated by UP.”
The work comes as part of a nearly $10 million per day investment on its capital program in order to support safe operations across its network.
