HONOLULU – HART released a 2-minute video with aerial footage of construction along Segments 2 and 3 from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to Civic Center.

Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation has released showing construction along the rail alignment from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Station to the future Civic Center Station.

Along Segment 2, from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to Middle Street Transit Center, four stations between Aloha Stadium and the Middle Street Transit Center are expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2024. Additionally, HART has announced that track and guideway construction work is complete. It has now started “core systems installation of power cables, communication systems, and signaling equipment.” There is an anticipated transfer to DTS in 2025.

Along Segment 3, from Kalihi to Civic Center, the City Center Utilities Relocation is still ongoing. The work here will clear the way for future construction of the guideway and stations. The Downtown Utilities Relocation work is slated to be finished during the first quarter of 2024, and the Dillingham Utilities Relocation work is expected to be finished during the first quarter of 2026.

HART has shared its monthly progress report for its current projects for December 2023.
