TORONTO – Metrolinx’s Fairbank Station is one of the underground stations along its Eglinton Crosstown route.

Metrolinx’s Fairbank Station is one of the underground stations along its Eglinton Crosstown route. There are 25 stops between Kennedy and Mount Dennis on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, and the current project will transport passengers from one end to the other up to 60% faster.

The underground Fairbank Station is located on the western side of the project’s route and includes “an outdoor community plaza that incorporates the existing St. Hilda’s Parkette, indoor retail spaces at street level within the main entrance plus dedicated bike parking spaces.”

According to Metrolinx, Fairbank Station houses two entrances. The first is a fully-accessible main entrance at the southeast corner of the intersection of Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue. The second entrance is at the northwest corner of the intersection. Below is a flythrough of the station.
