Alaska Railroad makes final repairs following 2018 earthquake

The Alaska Railroad is executing the final round of repairs following the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that shook the region in November 2018.

Crews are bringing in aggregate to help stabilize land around the track near South Anchorage. Work is expected to be completed by Christmas. To see a report on the project by KTVA Channel 11, click here.
