Amey kicks off USA Expansion With New Metropolitan Transportation Authority Contract

NEW YORK –– Amey, a provider of data-led, integrated asset management services based in London, has secured its first contract in the U.S. market with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to deliver an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Implementation System for the Long Island Rail Road.
Amey’s contract amount with MTA is $2.8m for which Amey will provide a series of asset management services for for the Long Island Rail Road, which stretches from Manhattan to Suffolk County in Long Island, making it one of the busiest commuter rails in North America; conducting over 900 trains each week and carrying approximately 200,000 passengers a day.
Services that Amey will provide to LIRR include digitizing existing paper-based processes, creating smart data visualization dashboards, and breaking down data siloes to create a connected data ecosystem. Part of this work will include the provision of Hexagon EAM configuration services, data management and analytics, business process mapping, solution design and build, user guidance and training, and the implementation of data systems.
