PNR RailWorks Wins Five-Year Maintenance Contract for VIA Rail Canada

TORONTO – PNR RailWorks has won a five-year contract for VIA Rail Canada to perform maintenance for track, signals, bridges, and right-of-way infrastructure.

According to the press release, the contract will be on as well as the Ottawa station in south Ontario and VIA-owned Alexandria, Beachburg, Smith Falls, Brockville and Chatham subdivisions.

With more than 60 years of rail infrastructure solutions throughout Canada, RailWorks “has engraved the safety culture into the day-to-day activities across all levels of the organization with employees being recognized for their safe practices and behavior resulting in an outstanding safety record.” PNR RailWorks is working toward the start of the maintenance contract, which begins on September 1, 2024.
