HOPE, British Columbia - CN's Western Region production team has reached two years without injuries.
CN recognized the achievement on social media after the team reached the milestone in February. The team is made up of rail and tie gangs, material distribution and scrap pick-up crews, and track welding teams. Over the course of two years, the team has installed more than 1,100,000 ties, laid more than 3,700,000 feet of rail, and completed more than 28,000 welds.
CN congratulated the team on this achievement “for proving that productivity and protection go hand in hand, and showing what’s possible when everyone takes ownership.”
