NRHS, Railway Age, RT&S Announce Second Annual Outstanding Railroad Historic Preservation Award

The National Railway Historical Society has kicked off its second annual recognition of a railroad’s historic preservation efforts. NRHS is again partnering with Railway Age and Railway Track & Structures to present the Outstanding Railroad Historic Preservation Award in recognition of a working common-carrier railroad for its efforts to preserve railroad history in the United States, Canada or Mexico.

Triunity Tapped for Denver RTD PM Contract

DENVER – Triunity, a Lochner Company, has been selected by Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD) for the Project Management Support Consultant contract, overseeing design, construction, repair, renovation and replacement projects for transit infrastructure throughout the Denver Metro area.

Hudson Tunnel Project Primed for FFGA

NEWARK/NEW YORK- The United States government has notified Congress that it plans to award a $6.88 billion GIG (Capital Improvement Grant) to the Gateway Development Commission (GDC) for the Hudson Tunnel project. The project involves building a new twin-bore tunnel for the Northeast Corridor (NEC) beneath the Hudson River between New York City and New Jersey.
