CSX employee struck and killed by train

WSAZ News Channel 3 is reporting that a CSX employee was struck and killed by a moving train near Parkersburg, W.Va., which is in Wood county. The accident occurred around 4 p.m. on Saturday. The employee’s name has not been released.

CSX reported that “A CSX employee was fatally injured following an incident involving a train today near Parkersburg, W.Va. CSX extends our deepest sympathy to the family, friends and co-workers of this individual. The incident is currently under investigation.”
